SlotCountDigiLight is a lap counter for slotcar tracks (e.g.Carrera(tm), Faller(tm), Siku(tm), Scaletrix(tm)). Some userssuccessfully used it for the detection of RC-Cars. The cars aredetected by the smartphone camera. There is no special extrahardware necessary. SlotCountDigiLight counts the laps during arace and calculates the lap times As the cars are detected viatheir color it is possible to use SlotCountDigiLight even fordigital tracks with lanechanging. From inside the app anonline-tutorial can be displayed. There now is an additionaldisplay-App available at Google Play: SlotCountDigi Mon Install iton a tablet and it will connect to SlotCountDigiLight via WIFI.During race all information (car order, leading car, fastest lap)is displayed in real time on the tablet. SlotCountDigiPro is a lap counter for slotcar tracks and RC-cars

An app for live display of race data from the app SlotCount Digivia Wifi. Using SlotCountDigi as a Slotcar lap counter with colordetection is okay. But, as the smartphone device doing thedetection has the track in view it may not be easy for everybodydriving a race car to find out whats going on in the race. So thisis where this App comes into play. It's meant to be used on asecond Android device, favorably a tablet which is placed near thetrack where everybody can see it. When the counting device isready, just start the monitor device, they will automaticallyconnect via Wifi-Direct. Then, during a race, the counting devicewill send each event (leading car, fastest lap) to the monitordevice where it is displayed. Thats not all, the monitor App canremote-control the counting App so you can start races from themonitor App. It is possible to start and stop calibration sessionsfrom the monitor App. Using the Pro version it is even possible toedit the car list in the monitor App which is quite convenient.
